Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of serving our city and leading initiatives that have improved quality of life, strengthened our infrastructure, and positioned our community for long-term success. Here are some of the highlights:


Strong Financial Stewardship

  • Achieved a $23 million surplus
  • Delivered sound and balanced budgets
  • Strengthened the city’s financial position
  • Maintained residential tax increases to a minimum

Infrastructure & Urban Development

  • Invested $120 million in infrastructure projects
  • Created a comprehensive Master Urban Plan
  • Modernized the Civic Centre
  • Expanded and rebuilt several community chalets
  • Renovated the Art Gallery
  • Rebuilt several tennis courts and added pickleball access citywide
  • Constructed three new splash pads at Lake Road Park, Westminster Park, and Westwood Park
  • Expanded our cycling network

Environmental Leadership

  • Planted over 12,000 trees
  • Installed environmentally friendly LED streetlights, generating long-term cost savings
  • Installed electric vehicle charging stations at the Civic Centre
  • Added new electric vehicles and equipment to the city fleet
  • Expanded and promoted community solidarity gardens

Public Services & Facilities

  • Expanded, redesigned, and re-equipped the public library
  • Expanded programming at the library, including coding and computer classes for children
  • Installed accessible and inclusive equipment in our city parks
  • Added outdoor exercise equipment at Centennial Park
  • Installed a parkour course at Westwood Park

Digital Innovation & Transparency

  • Created an award-winning online parking permit system
  • Revamped and redesigned the city’s official website
  • Launched official city accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to improve communication with residents

Civic Engagement & Representation

  • Created the DDO Consults public engagement program
  • Maintained the city’s official bilingual status
  • Added resident representation on the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Traffic Committee
  • Established the Youth Council to empower the next generation

Public Safety & Community Well-Being

  • Promoted and expanded the RUOK Program to support the well-being of seniors
  • Strengthened partnerships with the CIUSSS of the West Island to promote public health initiatives
  • Built stronger relationship between the Municipal Patrol and Police to improve local security
  • Worked closely with police to reduce speeding and enhance safety around schools, places of worship, and parks
  • Enhanced the city’s emergency preparedness plan to ensure faster, more coordinated responses
